Sources and counting

We keep SAE definitions, NHTSA complaints and recalls, manufacturer communications, EPA warranty rules, and documented owner cases separate. Community counts describe documented cases, not failure rates.

Limitations

Owners with problems are more likely to post, follow-ups can be missing, and mileage is self-reported. A report is evidence for the next diagnostic question, not a remote repair prescription.
