About Cavox

Cavox is a small independent team building an OBD2 diagnostic app and this site’s trouble-code reports.

Each report is built from traceable sources: SAE J2012 code definitions, public NHTSA complaint, recall, and service-bulletin records, plus documented owner cases from forums, Reddit, and YouTube. Numbers come from the evidence, not hand-written claims; a block does not publish when make-specific evidence is insufficient.

We are not a repair shop and do not give individual repair orders. Reports explain the code, typical causes, and a sensible next diagnostic step. Where safety is involved, they say plainly when to see a mechanic.
